Thomas Roe and Matthew Happold recently attended the Energy Charter Secretariat's conference in Brussels on ‘Investment Protection, Transit and the Energy Charter Treaty.’ Thomas Roe is a practising member of Chambers who has a particular interest in investor-state arbitration. Matthew Happold, an associate tenant, will shortly become Professor of Public International Law at the University of Luxembourg. Their jointly-authored book, ‘Settlement of Investment Disputes under the Energy Charter Treaty,’ is due for publication by Cambridge University Press in the New Year.
