Matthew Happold (door tenant at 3 Hare Court) recently acted as Adviser in a case before the European Court of Human Rights in which Russia was held responsible for the disappearance and death of Aslanbek Kukayev, a Chechan policeman, in violation of Article 2 (right to life) of the European Convention on Human Rights.
