Members of Chambers deal with the full range of discrimination claims including direct and indirect discrimination, victimisation and harassment in multi day hearings for both claimants and respondents.

We have considerable experience in claims involving disability discrimination, sex discrimination, race discrimination and age discrimination, and a strong reputation in cases involving religious discrimination and sexual orientation discrimination.

Members of Chambers have appeared in a number of seminal cases in this area, including Ladele v Islingdon LBC [2009] EWCA Civ 1357, Black v Wilkinson [2013] EWCA Civ 820, Bull v Hall [2013] UKSC 73, Eweida v United Kingdom (2013) 57 EHRR 8 and S.A.S v France (application no 43835/11), and have co-authored an OUP practitioner text on religious rights, The Protections for Religious Rights: Law and Practice (2013).
